Why does my BMW 2 Series smell like rotten eggs when driving?

I have noticed a strong rotten egg smell coming from my BMW 2 Series, especially when accelerating. Could this be related to the catalytic converter? If so, what could be causing it, and how can I fix it?

A rotten egg smell sulfur-like odor from your BMW 2 Series is often linked to the catalytic converter. Possible causes:

Excessive Sulfur in Fuel – Low-quality fuel in Pakistan with high sulfur content can cause this smell.
Failed Catalytic Converter – If the converter is unable to process sulfur properly, it produces the rotten egg smell.
Faulty Oxygen Sensors – Incorrect readings may lead to excessive fuel being sent to the exhaust, overwhelming the catalytic converter.
Rich Fuel Mixture Too Much Fuel Burning – A faulty mass airflow sensor MAF, fuel injectors, o r spark plugs can cause excess unburnt fuel, leading to sulfur smell.
Solution:

Use high-quality fuel with lower sulfur content.
Check and replace the oxygen sensors if faulty.
Inspect the fuel injectors and MAF sensor for issues.
If the smell persists, have a mechanic check the catalytic converter for failure.
