Why Does My Suzuki Bolan Crank Slowly o r Weakly Even With a Good Battery?

Even with a new battery, the engine cranks very slowly and takes time to start. Could the starter motor be weak o r dragging? Are there common internal faults in Bolan’s starter motor that lead to this?

A weak o r slow crank even with a good battery is often a sign of a dragging starter motor. This happens when the internal parts such as the armature o r bearings are worn out, o r if theres resistance due to corrosion o r overheating. In some cases, the starter takes too much current, causing the battery to voltage under load. This is a classic sign of a starter that is on the verge of failing. You may also smell a faint burnt odor if it’s overheating. In most cases, a starter that cranks slowly should be repaired o r replaced immediately to avoid full failure.
