Why is my BMW 2 Series catalytic converter failing so soon?

I recently had to replace my BMW 2 Series catalytic converter, and after a few months, I am facing similar issues again. What could be causing premature failure, and how can I prevent it from happening again?

If you’ve replaced the catalytic converter but it failed again, consider these possible reasons:

Poor Fuel Quality – Low-quality fuel in Pakistan contains more impurities, damaging the converter over time.
Engine Running Too Rich – Unburnt fuel in the exhaust causes overheating and damages the catalytic converter.
Leaking Fuel Injectors – If fuel injectors leak, excess fuel enters the exhaust system, damaging the converter.
Faulty Spark Plugs o r Ignition Coils – Incomplete combustion sends unburnt fuel into the catalytic converter.
Excessive Oil o r Coolant in Exhaust – A blown head gasket o r engine issue can send oil/coolant into the converter, leading to failure.
Frequent Short Trips – Driving in the city with short trips prevents the catalytic converter from reaching proper operating temperature.
Solution:

Use high-quality fuel with lower sulfur content.
Fix any fuel injector leaks o r ignition system issues.
Change spark plugs and ignition coils at recommended intervals.
Avoid excessive idling and take the car on long highway drives occasionally to keep the system clean.
Regularly inspect for oil o r coolant leaks to prevent contamination.
