Why is My BMW 2 Series Emitting Excessive Smoke from the Exhaust?

My BMW 2 Series recently started emitting a lot of smoke from the exhaust, especially during startup and acceleration. The smoke color varies between white, blue, and black at times. Could this be a sign of a head gasket issue, oil burning, o r a fuel mixture problem? How can I determine the exact cause based on the color of the smoke and fix it accordingly?

Possible Causes Based on Smoke Color:

White Smoke: Usually indicates coolant leaking into the engine due to a blown head gasket o r a cracked cylinder head.
Blue Smoke: Sign of burning oil, which can be caused by worn piston rings, valve seals, o r a faulty turbocharger.
Black Smoke: Indicates a rich fuel mixture due to a faulty oxygen sensor, dirty fuel injectors, o r a bad MAF sensor.
Solution:

If white smoke appears, check for coolant loss, and inspect the head gasket and cylinder head.
For blue smoke, check for oil leaks inside the engine, and inspect the turbocharger, piston rings, and valve seals.
If black smoke is present, clean o r replace the oxygen sensor, MAF sensor, o r fuel injectors.
Use high-quality fuel and perform regular engine maintenance to prevent excessive smoke issues.
