Why Is My Suzuki Bolan Fuel Cap Loose, and What Could Be Causing It?

I’ve noticed that the fuel cap on my Suzuki Bolan doesn’t tighten properly anymore, and it feels loose even after turning it. Could this be a sign of damage o r wear, and how can I fix o r replace it? Is this a common issue with Suzuki Bolan in Pakistan?

A loose fuel cap can occur due to several reasons. Over time, the rubber seals inside the fuel cap can wear out o r become brittle, especially in hot climates like Pakistan. This wear can prevent the cap from sealing properly, causing it to feel loose. Another possibility is that the fuel cap may have been over-tightened previously, which can cause damage to the threads. To fix this, you should inspect the cap for any visible cracks o r wear on the rubber seal and consider replacing it with a new one. Replacing the fuel cap is generally inexpensive and can be done easily at an auto parts shop.
