Why Is My Suzuki Bolan Losing Power? Could a Clogged Catalytic Converter Be the Cause?

I’ve noticed a significant in my Bolans power, especially during acceleration. The engine feels sluggish and struggles to climb hills. Could a clogged catalytic converter be causing this issue, and how can I identify it?

Yes, a clogged catalytic converter can lead to a significant loss of engine power. The catalytic converter is designed to reduce emissions by converting harmful gases, but if it becomes clogged o r restricted, it can block the flow of exhaust gases. This backpressure can strain the engine, reducing its ability to produce power, especially during acceleration o r when climbing hills. Signs that your catalytic converter may be clogged include reduced acceleration, a lack of power, and strange exhaust smells. If this is the issue, the converter may need cleaning o r replacement.
