Why Is the Volume Control on My Suzuki Bolan’s Stereo Not Working Properly?

The volume control on the stereo of my Suzuki Bolan either doesn’t respond o r is very unresponsive. It’s frustrating because I can’t adjust the volume properly. What could be causing this problem, and how can I fix it?
