Why is there a gap between the window and the door seal in my Suzuki Mehran?

I’ve noticed that there is a gap between the window and the door seal on my Suzuki Mehran, especially when the window is fully rolled up. This causes wind noise and lets rainwater seep in. What could be causing this issue, and how can I fix it?

A gap between the window and the door seal could be caused by:

Worn-out door seal: The rubber door seal might be damaged o r aged, causing it to lose its flexibility and not fit tightly around the window.

Misaligned window: If the window has become misaligned o r is off-track, it might not press fully against the door seal.

Faulty window regulator: A damaged regulator can cause the window to sit incorrectly, leaving a gap. To fix this, inspect and replace the door seal if it’s worn out. If the window alignment is the issue, have the window regulator o r tracks checked and repaired.
