Why Won’t My BMW 2 Series Start Even Though the Battery Is Fine?
My BMW 2 Series is not starting, but the battery is fully charged, and the lights and electronics are working. Could this be due to a busted starter motor? How can I diagnose whether the issue is with the starter motor o r something else?

If your BMW 2 Series is not starting despite a fully charged battery, the problem could be a faulty starter motor. Here’s how to diagnose the issue:
✔ Listen for Sounds: If you hear a clicking sound when turning the key o r pressing the start button, the starter might be faulty.
✔ Check for Power to the Starter: Use a multimeter to check if power is reaching the starter motor when you try to start the car.
✔ Inspect the Starter Relay & Fuse: A blown starter relay o r fuse can prevent the starter from working.
✔ Look for Loose Connections: Corroded o r loose wires connecting the starter can cause intermittent starting issues.
✔ Test the Ignition Switch: A faulty ignition switch might not send power to the starter, leading to a no-start condition.
🔧 Solution:
If the starter is clicking but not cranking, try tapping the starter motor with a wrench sometimes, this can temporarily get it working.
If all wiring is fine, but the engine won’t crank, you may need a starter motor replacement.
