Suzuki Mehran 1st Generation Overview

Pak Suzuki introduced the 1st Generation Suzuki Mehran in Pakistan during the early 1990s and continued its production till 2012. It was available in four different variants, including the VX, VX (CNG), VXR, and VXR (CNG). The price of the car was competitive compared to other vehicles in the same class available in the local market. During its 23-year-long production, the car received few cosmetic upgrades.

Exterior

The exterior design of the Suzuki Mehran 1st Generation has a box-like structure. The front end consists of trapezium-shaped headlights, a rectangular grille, and black bumpers. The back of the car has slightly angular squared-shaped taillights, a standard hatchback, and a black bumper. The VXR variant had color-matched bumpers and full wheel covers. Overall, the exterior design of the car features a minimalistic and restrained design language.

Interior

The interior of the 1st Generation Suzuki Mehran comprises of grey plastic trim pieces. The interior is minimalistic, and many aspects of the car are left exposed. The windows and seat adjustment controls are all manual. The car lacks basic features such as central locking, steering adjustment, and rear seat belts. The front and rear seats are covered in vinyl. The car features a heater, while the higher-end VXR variant includes air conditioning and fabric seats.
