Bad News for Drivers While Drinking

It is bad news for the drivers, who drink and drive their vehicle in Karachi. Now Karachi Traffic Police is going to buy the alcohol breath tester and the tender for the purchase of this equipment is got published in the newspapers. Bad News for Drivers While Drinking.

Although this equipment will be new in Pakistan but this equipment is used in various advanced countries of the world, where police use it to check the suspected individuals with the help of digital alcohol tester, who drink while driving o r work in the workplace. According to the DSP being appointed in DIG Traffic Police Karachi on the admin duties, most of the accidents are occurred because of the drivers, who drink and drive their vehicles and they result in the collateral damage.

According to the concerned DSP, this tool will be used on the driver, who drink while driving in Karachi in the first phase and preparations for purchasing of 90 alcohol testers have been made. He told that after getting the tender, traffic police got the sample of alcohol tester machine and after getting approval to buy this tool by the purchasing committee of the traffic police, the company, which will meet the demand, the orders will be given to them. The individuals, who will be found drunk, their challan will be made on the spot and after receipt of the immediate report of the machine, such persons will be arrested.
