Cars Sales 12% in April 2017

Because of the high demand of the cars in the market, the sale of the locally manufactured cars saw the acute shortage of 12% during the month of April as compared to the month of March 2017. Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association PAMA has provided the statistics and said that there are three big automotive companies managed to sell 17,443 units in the month of April.
Pak Suzuki Motors Limited sold total 9171 units of the different variants. The Indus Motor Company sold 4753 units and Honda sold 3519 units of cars. The limited production capacity of the car is affected the sales of the cars negatively during April, which is also included with new car models.
The sale volumes of the cars show the decline to the old model of the cars, which is being phased out. The sales of the newly launched Cultus will pick up in the coming months. Honda Civic 10th generation car has been launched by Honda motor company and enough number of customers gets the cars in local market and they are still in the high demand.
The local automobile manufacturing companies have witnessed the production constraints with the increasing demand in the local market. The gap in the supplies and demands are huge in the local market because of the limited production capacity of three main players. The customers wait for months to get the cars until they pay the extra own money to get the cars in time.
