Changan Responds Its Customers Over Recent Price Hike

Changan Pakistan has been the topic of much negative public attention since the recent price hikes in various variants. Last week, the corporate announced a hike of Rs. 50,000 and a whopping Rs. 101,000 for the Comfort DCT and Lumiere variants of the Alsvin sedan, respectively.

Rising prices have angered the general public, which has led to a flurry of negative comments from people on social media platforms. Changan has now broken his silence and skilled comments in his official statement.

The statement focuses on three key points. The primary is that the sharp rise in car prices thanks to a severe shortage of transport containers, which has led to a pointy rise in shipping costs.

Second, the general public feared that the new prices would apply to consumers who had already booked their cars at the old prices. Changan has made sure he doesn't need to pay a revised price for the car.

Finally, the corporate has announced that it's opened 'Limited Booking' and Financing facilities for buyers wishing to check in for the July delivery. With the company's 'first come, first served' booking policy, those that apply early are going to be given priority.

Changan has also announced the recent price hike on the fate of other new car makers within the Pakistani market as most of them are based in China and every one of them import large quantities from China. Time will tell whether o r not they also will increase the costs of their cars o r not.
