Driving License Test Will Be More Difficult Than Before

The Inspector General IG, Islamabad Qazi Jameel Ur Rehman has recently visited the Islamabad Traffic Police Headquarter ITP. During his visit he was appraised by the concerned authority regarding the issuance of driver license process and tests conducted for it.

Senior Superintendent ITP Sardar Karar Husain told IG that over 35,000 have been caught violating traffic rules and tined over the past week.

The IG briefed and instructed the officials in the department to improve the efforts and performance. The IG directed the ITP officials to make the driving test more challenging, so that the skilled and qualified drivers may get the license and untrained and violators must be discouraged. He added test must contain more strict modules and more stringent evaluation of the applicants.
