Dubai Has Made a $350k Off-Roading Supercar

The market for the supercars is now saturated and there is hardly any new entrant introduced in the market just like Bugatti, Aston Martin, Lamborghini and Ferrari.
There has not been good contender for the supercar for off-roading and Dubai based startup wants to change with the ultra expensive and monster of the car is specifically designed for cruising over sand dune in Gulf areas.
Meet SandRacer
Zarooq Motors is based in Dubai and this is the car manufacturing startup co-founded by Mohammad Al Qadi, Bruno Laffite and Iannis Mardell. Iannis and Al Qadi are the veterans in motors porting field with experience of many decades and Bruno is ex-racer, which belongs to family of racers.

Al Qadi said that there is strong demand for the luxury off road vehicles in this region. The startup of the car is shown a prototype of $30,000 worth supercar. It is called ‘SandRacer’ and this car is built and designed in UAE and it gets the name from ‘Schokari sand racer’, which is the fastest snake in the desert. This car has been designed in this style so that it can survive the toughest conditions.

He further added that it was born in sands of Arabia and it can be introduced anywhere in the world and it is result of hard work for driving and racing. Zarooq SandRacer is the hand built and it is powered by 3.5 liter V6 and it will have the access to 500 bhp. The prototype of car will be introduced later this summer and it will be priced for $35,000 and Dakar Rally pack will also be provided for additional $100,000.
