Honda Launches its First Electric SUV

Honda has launched its all-new electric crossover SUV Prologue and the revealing of this car gives the speculations that the introduction of this car may be taken place very soon. Honda has released the recent updates and it has confirmed that it will be launched in 2024. The customers will witness that Honda launches its electric SUV Prologue. 

General Motors (GM) and Honda has made the joint venture of Prologue. Now Honda procures Ultium batteries and powertrain for the EV from GM because of this partnership of the two auto giants. 

This SUV will be equipped with Two-wheel drive and the All-Wheel drive powertrain configuration. There are some other features of Honda, which are Advanced Driver Assistant System (ADAS) and other high-tech features. 

In terms of dimensions of Prologue, it is considered between Honda CR-V and pilot and it makes it midsize SUV. Honda has not shown the official specification and the reviewers show that it will give the identical performance statistics to Chevy Blazer EV. 

The reports show that Chevy Blazer EV has 300 to 550 hp around 650 Nm of torque and it gives the range of 400 to 515 kms. 

Prologue gives the simple but elegant look and it is like other modern siblings. The car has the subtle design, which incorporates the long wheelbase, short overhangs and large wheels. 

Honda has two EVs in its arsenal, which are Honda e: NSI SUV (specific to China only) and Honda e hatchback. This midsize crossover SUV add more value to the growing EV lineup of Honda and you can also consider the potential features and performance and this vehicle gives the price tag according to its size.
