Suzuki Alto 660cc is the highly anticipated 8th generation and it has been launched in auto market. The auto manufacturer has launched this vehicle at Pak China Friendship Center, Islamabad on 15 June 2019 . Key Differences Suzuki Alto 660cc Three Variants.

The iconic Mehran of Suzuki is discontinued and it has left the huge void in local auto industry and the maker has decided to introduce first ever 660cc powered Alto as replacement. Pak Suzuki introduced the hatchback at 3 day Pakistan Auto Parts Show 2019 , which was organized at Expo Center Karachi from 12 to 14 April 2019. Pak Suzuki has exhibited this vehicle under three variants of VX, VXR and VXL and they are introduced with manual transmission and it is auto gear shift.

Powertrain :

All new Alto is the 5 door hatchback with right hand drive option and it is powered by 3 cylinder 658cc R06A petrol engine, which is mated to 5 speed manual o r auto gear shift transmission. The hatchback offers the maximum output of 39hp at 6500 rpm and torque of 56 Nm at 4000 rpm. This vehicle is added with multi point injection system and Suzuki Alto has seating capacity of 4 adult persons and it has 27 liters fuel tank. All these features are standard in all three variants of the hatchback.

Braking and Suspension :
The hatchback is added with solid front disc and rear drum brakes. You can find MacPherson Strut with the coil spring, which is used in front suspension and rear side is added with torsion beam with coil spring. The 660cc hatchback has tyre size of 145 / 80 R13 in all three variants.

Exterior :

Lot of people are familiar with the looks of Alto and there are few differences in the locally produced unit and all three trims of Alto come with high mounted stop lamp on the rear side of the hatchback. Side mirrors of VXL variant are electrically retractable and the lower versions have pivoted side mirrors. These side mirrors are colored like body in high end variant. The mirrors are in black colors in the remaining two trims. The door handles are black in VX and VXR and the company offers body colored handles in AGS model.

Interior :
The interior of the car is similar in all versions with one big difference. The interior color of VXL variant comes in dual tone, which is single in remaining two variants. They are equipped with 3 position cabin light, floor carpet, couple of cup holders, floor console and speaker grille and the assist grips sun visor with ticket holder.

Price :
Pak Suzuki has not disclose the price of all new hatchback on previous occasions of its exhibition on Pakistan Auto Parts Show 2019 and this vehicle is launched on 15 June 2019 and the company has fixed the following prices of the respective variants:

• Suzuki Alto VX Rs.999,000/-
• Suzuki Alto VXR Rs.1,101,000/-
• Suzuki Alto VXL Rs.1,295,000/-
The 2.5% Federal Excise Duty is also included in these prices, which is proposed by the government during its federal budget 2019-2020.
