KTP Crackdown against Pressure Horns & Fancy Number Plat

Karachi city traffic police has launched the aggressive crackdown against the use of pressure horns and the fancy number plates. It is reported that police has captured about 2400 pressure horns and 2000 fancy number plates 15 days after launching of this campaign. The government of Sindh has accorded the approval of this Karachi Traffic Police Crackdown against Pressure Horns & Fancy Number Plates.

The police department has started taking action against the motorists amid the operation and the sources said that most of these pressure horns were under use of the buses and rickshaw drivers. Most of the motorcycles and passenger cars use the fancy number plates and it is reported about 12000 challans have been issued to the users.

DIG Police announced this campaign during the month of December 2020 on the orders of Sindh High Court and the notice was issued to the public by giving the information of the use of pressure horns and unauthorized number plates, tinted glass, fancy number plates, revolving lights, bar lights and unauthorized siren, which are banned in Karachi. The respective department gave the deadline to the public to remove these things from their vehicles before 04 January 2021 and after that the authorities have taken the legal action against the violators.
