Local Suzuki Every Sales Soar by 148% in Second Month
The locally produced Suzuki Every has been on the radar of Pakistani consumers for years. This interest gained momentum after a 2021 Lahore High Court ruling directed the Engineering Development Board (EDB) to enforce airbags in all new vehicles. Meeting this demand, Pak Suzuki Motors Company (PSMC) introduced the locally assembled Suzuki Every to the market just two months ago, marking a significant step in addressing safety requirements.
Mixed Initial Sales Performance
The Suzuki Every sales had a slow start, with just 262 units sold in its first month of launch. While this number was underwhelming, early Local Suzuki Every sales report figures often don’t reflect a vehicle's long-term potential. Encouragingly, the second month saw an impressive Suzuki Every second-month sales jump, with 636 units sold, as reported in PAMA's November figures. This upward trend suggests growing consumer interest and confidence in the model, as indicated by the remarkable Suzuki Every 148% sales growth.
Competition and Market Challenges
Despite the promising growth in sales, Pak Suzuki faces stiff competition from rivals like the Changan Karvaan. To maintain momentum and secure market share, PSMC must focus on innovative offerings, competitive pricing, and effective marketing strategies. The ability to adapt and deliver value-added features will be crucial for the Suzuki Every sales statistic and its long-term success in Pakistan’s competitive automotive market.
Design and Features of Suzuki Every
The Suzuki Every features a practical and boxy Kei car design with sliding doors, halogen headlights, and keyless entry in the top variant. Inside, it offers convenience with features like power steering, front auto windows, and fabric-covered seats in two-tone colors. Notable additions include foldable rear seats, USB ports, Bluetooth, fast charging, and a spare tire, making it suitable for families and small businesses alike.
Specifications and Sales Outlook
Powered by a 660cc DOHC 12-valve VVT engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission, the Suzuki Every produces 43 hp and 58 Nm of torque. While overall PSMC sales dropped by 26% in November 2024 compared to October, the Suzuki Every sales have shown potential for growth. Whether it can sustain this upward trajectory depends on its ability to compete and adapt in the market. The coming months will reveal if it can carve out a lasting niche among consumers.
