Petrol Price Rs. 1.45 Increase In Pakistan
The government has made the announcement to increase the petrol prices in Pakistan. The government has issued their notification regarding increase in petrol price, which is Rs.1.45 and now the price of the petrol is reached to Rs.237.43 from Rs.235.98 per liter. The finance division has made it clear that Petrol Price Rs. 1.45 Increase In Pakistan.
It is reported that there is no change in diesel price, which is stable at Rs.247.43 and the rate of the kerosene oil is Rs.202.02 from Rs.210.32 and there is simple reduction of Rs.8.30. The reduction in price of light diesel oil has been observed, which is Rs.4.26 and it took the price to Rs.197.28 from Rs.201.54.
The finance division stated that due to fluctuation in oil price globally and variation in exchange rate, government decided to revise the prices of the petroleum products. The new prices of the oil products will be effective from 21 September 2022.

Deregulation of Petrol Price in Pakistan
The government took the initiative to deregulate the prices of the petrol products as the government has stated their new mechanism. The Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) and Oil and Gas regulatory Authority conducted their meeting recently and it was disclosed that the petrol prices are going to be deregulated from 01 November 2022.
The petroleum dealers rejected the decision and they opted that OGRA did not consult with them in this matter. PPDA made the announced regarding rejection of the government policy.
