Suzuki Offers Price Lock, Except for Two Models

Suzuki Offers Price Lock, Except for Two Models
As the US dollar rate reaches unprecedented heights and enters a volatile phase, automakers are bracing for potential car price increases on the horizon. However, they remain acutely aware that excessive hikes could deter prospective buyers. In a strategic move to entice more customers, they are rolling out various incentives.
Furthermore, PSMC is sweetening the deal by extending a complimentary registration offer to purchasers of the new Suzuki Cultus and WagonR models. Additionally, a substantial Rs. 150,000 exchange bonus awaits those opting for the new Suzuki Swift.
While these incentives hold promise for prospective car buyers, they also serve as indicators of an imminent wave of price hikes. The relentless surge in the dollar rate since August has cast a shadow of uncertainty, with no clear end in sight to this upward trajectory.
Given the significant reliance of the Pakistani car industry on imports, automakers are grappling with the challenge of maintaining price stability in the current economic climate. Consequently, the question is not 'if' but 'when' car manufacturers will adjust their prices, with prevailing indications strongly suggesting 'very soon.'
