Are Old o r Worn-Out Wiper Blades Causing Streaks on My Khyber’s Windshield?

Many Khyber owners report that their wiper blades leave streaks o r lines during rain. Could this be due to aging rubber, and how often should wiper blades be replaced in Pakistan’s climate?

Yes, worn-out wiper blades are one of the main causes of streaks. Over time, the rubber edge becomes brittle, cracked, o r uneven, making poor contact with the glass and leaving streaks behind.

Signs of Worn Blades:

Skipping o r squeaking noise

Uneven wiping

Visible cracks o r separation in the rubber

Fix:

Replace the wiper blades with compatible sizes usually 18 and 20 for Khyber

Choose silicone o r premium rubber blades for longer life

Clean wiper blades weekly with a damp cloth to remove dust and oil
