Why Is My Suzuki Khyber’s Steering Wheel Hard to Turn?

I’ve noticed that the steering wheel in my Suzuki Khyber has become harder to turn than usual, especially when I’m trying to park o r make tight turns. Could this be a problem with the power steering system? What should I check to fix this issue?

If your steering wheel feels hard to turn, especially at low speeds o r while parking, it’s a sign of a problem in the steering system. Since many Suzuki Khybers don’t come with power steering by default, the manual system can become stiff due to wear o r lack of maintenance.

Possible Causes:

Worn-out steering components like tie rod ends o r rack bushings

Dry o r jammed steering column due to lack of lubrication

Tight steering rack

Under-inflated front tires, making it harder to turn

What to Do:

Lubricate steering components if they’re dry

Inflate tires to the correct PSI usually 28–30 for Khyber

Get the steering rack and suspension checked by a mechanic

Consider installing power steering if driving feels too heavy in city traffic some mechanics offer this modification
