Could Low Refrigerant Gas Be the Reason My Khyber’s AC Isn’t Cooling?

My Suzuki Khyber’s AC used to cool well but has gradually stopped blowing cold air. Could this be due to low gas o r a slow leak in the system, and how often does a Khyber typically need a gas refill?

Yes, low refrigerant gas is one of the most common reasons your AC will stop cooling. With time, gas escapes from seals, hoses, o r small leaks in the system.

Signs of Low AC Gas:

AC blows cool for a few minutes, then turns warm

AC works better at night, worse in the day

Hissing sound from inside the dashboard

What to Do:

Visit an AC specialist and get a gas pressure check

A full refill of R134a gas usually costs around PKR 2,000–3,500

If leaks are found, get them sealed before recharging gas
