Does the low ground clearance of Suzuki Khyber cause scraping on speed bumps o r rough roads?
The Khyber has a ground clearance of about 150mm, which is fairly low for local roads in Pakistan, especially with the presence of speed bumps, potholes, and uneven surfaces. I often hear scraping noises when going over speed bumps o r rough patches. Can I modify the suspension o r raise the car’s clearance to prevent this?

Yes, the Suzuki Khyber has a ground clearance of approximately 150mm, which is relatively low by modern standards, particularly for local roads in Pakistan that often have high-speed bumps and uneven surfaces. This low clearance can result in the underside of the car scraping on bumps o r rough roads, especially when the vehicle is heavily loaded o r during sharp turns. To avoid this, you can consider installing thicker o r aftermarket suspension parts to raise the car’s clearance. Be cautious, however, as increasing the clearance too much can negatively affect the cars handling. Additionally, using softer rubber tires may help absorb some of the bumps.
