How Can I Tell If the Battery Itself Is Dead o r If It’s Another Issue in My Khyber?

My Khyber won’t start, and there’s no sound when I turn the key. How can I check whether the battery is dead, o r if it’s a problem with the starter, wiring, o r ignition?

When your car doesn’t start, you need to isolate whether it’s the battery o r something else like the starter o r ignition.

Test Steps:

Check if the headlights o r horn work. If not, likely a dead battery.

Try a jump start. If the car starts, the battery was low.

If jump start doesn’t work, and there’s clicking o r no cranking, check:

Starter motor

Ignition switch

Ground connections

Tip: If the battery is over 2.5–3 years old, it may not hold charge and should be replaced.
