How Do I Know if My Suzuki Khyber’s Spark Plugs Are Failing?

I’m experiencing misfires and occasional rough idling in my Khyber, especially when accelerating. Could this be due to faulty spark plugs? How can I diagnose whether the spark plugs need to be replaced?

Failing spark plugs often exhibit specific symptoms that can affect your Khyber’s engine performance. A misfire o r rough idle is a common indication that the spark plugs are no longer functioning properly.

Signs of Spark Plug Failure:

Engine misfires o r rough idling, especially when accelerating o r under load

Loss of power o r hesitation during acceleration

Decreased fuel economy

Difficulty starting the engine o r starting with a rough idle

Increased exhaust emissions blue o r black smoke

What You Should Do:

Inspect each spark plug for wear, cracks, o r heavy carbon buildup.

Replace spark plugs if they are damaged o r show significant signs of wear.

Regular spark plug maintenance is key, and if they’ve been in use for more than 30,000 km, it’s time to replace them.
