Is My Suzuki Khyber’s Old Wiring Causing Battery Drain Issues?

My car has original wiring, and I’m facing frequent battery problems. Could worn-out o r exposed wires in my Khyber be short-circuiting and draining the battery?

Old wiring is a real problem in aging cars like the Khyber. Insulation wears off and wires may short, causing slow power drains that kill the battery over time.

Signs of Wiring Issues:

Burning smell o r flickering dashboard lights

Battery drains even with no accessories on

Fuses blowing frequently

Solution:

Have a trusted electrician inspect the main harness

Look for corroded connectors, melted wires, o r tape fixes

Repair o r replace affected sections — common in cars over 15–20 years old
