What Are the Warning Signs of Alternator Failure in Suzuki Khyber?

I’ve noticed dim headlights and weak dashboard lights in my Khyber, especially at night. Are these signs of alternator failure, and what other symptoms should I watch out for before the car breaks down?

An alternator doesnt usually fail all at once — it gives warning signs. Identifying them early can prevent a sudden breakdown.

Common Warning Signs:

Dim headlights o r dashboard lights, especially at idle

Flickering lights when accelerating o r braking

Battery warning light on the dashboard

Whining o r grinding noise from the alternator area

Burning smell overheating alternator

Recommended Action:

If you notice these signs, get your alternator tested immediately

Avoid driving long distances with suspected alternator issues, especially at night o r with A/C on
