What is this button for? (BMW M3)

What is this button used for? The other four buttons are for windows but the one in the middle on the left side is what I wanna know the function of. Is it for putting down the top as it's only found in the M3 convertible but not the coupe.

yes, puts down the top n eject in case of emergency. u fly through the roof. make sure u put on the parachute too wen fastenin ur seatbelt.
