Why Does My Khyber’s AC Work at Night But Not During the Day?

At night, the AC blows cool air, but in the daytime heat, it feels like it’s not cooling at all. Could this be due to weak cooling coils, low gas pressure, o r poor insulation in the cabin?

This often happens due to low gas pressure, poor heat insulation, o r an overloaded AC system that can’t handle the daytime heat in Pakistan especially in cities like Lahore, Multan, Karachi.

Possible Reasons:

Weak refrigerant charge not enough pressure for daytime heat

Overheating condenser due to poor airflow o r fan issues

Weak cabin insulation older Khyber interiors absorb heat quickly

Solutions:

Recharge AC gas to the correct pressure

Clean the condenser coil and check the radiator fan

Park in shaded areas and consider using reflective sunshades
