Why Does My Suzuki Khyber Engine Stall Randomly—Is the Ignition Coil the Problem?

Some Khyber owners report that the engine suddenly stalls during driving o r idling without any warning. Can a failing ignition coil be the root cause of this, and how can you test the coil’s performance?

Yes, a failing ignition coil can cause random stalling while driving o r idling. This is because the coil sometimes fails intermittently—producing spark one moment, then cutting out the next.

Why This Happens:

Coil may overheat and lose efficiency.

Internal wiring o r windings may be damaged.

Loose o r corroded coil connectors.

How to Fix It:

Inspect all coil connections.

Test coil with a multimeter o r replace it with a new one they are relatively inexpensive.

Make sure spark plug wires and distributor are also in good condition.
