Sputtering at high speeds o r after long drives can happen due to fuel starvation, ignition coil overheating, o r vacuum issues. Older Khyber engines are more prone to heat-related performance s.

Common Causes:

Fuel vapor lock in hot weather

Overheating ignition coil

Clogged fuel lines o r ventilation system

Weak distributor o r ignition timing issues

Fixes:

Make sure your cooling system radiator, thermostat is working properly.

Replace the ignition coil if it’s overheating.

Clean o r replace the fuel cap vent and inspect fuel lines.

Get the ignition timing and distributor checked by a mechanic.
