Why does my Suzuki Khybers engine consume more fuel than usual?

My Khyber is consuming more fuel than it used to, even though I haven’t changed my driving habits. It used to give decent mileage, but now its significantly lower. Could this be due to a faulty carburetor, clogged fuel filter, o r incorrect air-fuel mixture? How can I fix this issue?

Increased fuel consumption in your Suzuki Khyber can be caused by several factors, with the most common being a faulty carburetor, clogged fuel filter, o r an incorrect air-fuel mixture. Over time, the carburetor can become dirty o r clogged, which affects its ability to mix the right ratio of air and fuel, leading to excessive fuel consumption. A clogged fuel filter can restrict fuel flow to the engine, causing the engine to work harder and consume more fuel. Additionally, a dirty air filter o r a malfunctioning oxygen sensor can also affect fuel efficiency. To fix this issue, get the carburetor cleaned and tuned, replace the fuel filter, and ensure the air filter is clean. You may also want to check the spark plugs and the fuel injectors if applicable to ensure proper performance.
