Why does my Suzuki Khybers steering feel loose o r have excessive play?

When I drive my Suzuki Khyber, I notice there’s a lot of steering play, especially when I turn the wheel. It feels like the steering isn’t as responsive as it should be, which makes me feel less confident when changing lanes o r turning. What could be causing this loose steering? Could it be worn-out steering rack, tie rods, o r the steering column?

Excessive steering play in your Suzuki Khyber is often caused by worn-out steering components such as the steering rack, tie rods, o r steering column bushings. Over time, these parts can become loose o r wear down, causing a lack of responsiveness when turning the wheel. Another potential issue could be loose o r worn ball joints o r the steering shaft, which also contribute to loose steering. To fix this, a mechanic should inspect the steering rack, tie rods, and steering column to check for wear and replace any damaged parts. Ensuring proper alignment and balancing of the steering system can also help reduce play.
