Why does my Suzuki Khybers steering make squeaking o r whining noises?

I’ve noticed that my Khyber’s steering makes a squeaking o r whining noise when I turn the wheel. It’s particularly loud when I make sharp turns o r maneuver the car. Is this due to the power steering pump, worn steering components, o r a problem with the steering fluid? What could be causing this noise, and how do I resolve it?

Squeaking o r whining noises when turning the steering wheel can be caused by low o r contaminated power steering fluid, a worn-out power steering pump, o r dry steering components such as the steering shaft o r bushings. A low fluid level can cause the pump to work harder, creating a whining sound, while dry steering parts such as bushings o r joints can lead to squeaking noises. The power steering pump may also be failing, which can lead to both noise and poor steering performance. To fix this, first, check and top up the power steering fluid. If the noise continues, it may be necessary to flush the power steering fluid and replace it. Additionally, inspect the steering components for wear and lubricate o r replace them as needed.
