Why Is My Suzuki Khyber’s AC Running But Not Blowing Cold Air in Hot Weather?

Even though the AC is turned on and the fan is working, the air coming out of the vents is warm. This issue gets worse during the afternoon heat. What could be the reasons for the AC not cooling effectively in Pakistan’s hot climate?

This is a very common issue in older cars like the Khyber, especially during hot summer months in Pakistan. If the fan is blowing but the air isn’t cold, several things could be wrong:

Possible Causes:

Low refrigerant gas

Dirty condenser coil can’t cool the gas properly

Weak o r clogged cooling coil evaporator

AC thermostat malfunction

Faulty AC clutch o r compressor

What You Can Do:

Have the system pressure tested by an AC technician

Clean the condenser with water spray

Make sure the radiator fan is working it helps cool the AC system too
