Why is the gear shifting hard o r noisy in my Suzuki Khyber?

Shifting between 1st and 2nd gear is tough, and I often hear a grinding sound when changing gears quickly. The clutch also feels a bit stiff. Some say it’s a worn clutch plate, others blame old gear oil o r gearbox damage. I haven’t changed gear oil in a while. Could this be a clutch cable o r pressure plate issue? What’s the most common reason in Khyber?

Hard o r noisy shifting is usually due to a worn clutch plate, low o r old gear oil, o r a stretched clutch cable. If gears grind while shifting, the clutch might not be fully disengaging. First, try replacing the gear oil with high-quality 75W-90 oil. If it continues, check the clutch pressure plate, release bearing, and cable tension. Also, inspect the gear lever bush—it gets loose with time and causes poor shifting.
