1.6L Hyundai Elantra Is Finally Here After Official Launch

The second variant of Hyundai Elantra, the 1.6 Hyundai Elantra is finally here after the official launch by the Hyundai. The company has launched the car with new features and modern look and design. The Elantra 1.6L is now available at the Hyundai dealerships across the country and is on display currently.

Hyundai Elantra Variants

With the arrival of new variant of Elantra, now the Hyundai Elantra 2022 is available in two variants in the market. The car has an old variant 2.0L Elantra GLS and the new variant Elantra 1.6 GL. The company offered only GLX Elantra for a year in a competition with against 1.6L, 1.8L Corolla, and 1.5L, 1.8L Civic variants. So, to compete with the base variants of Civic and Corolla, the company launched the base variant of Elantra.

1.6L Elantra Competitors

The base variants of C-segment sedans, 1.6L Corolla, 1.5L Civic Standard, and 1.5L Civic Oriel are the direct competitors Hyundai Elantra 1.6L.

In terms of pricing, the new Elantra variant also competes with top variants of B-segment sedans, 1.5L Yaris CVT and 1.5L Aspire City.

The Hyundai Elantra made its official debut in March 2021 as a sedan. During a year, Hyundai Nishat sold 2,784 units of Elantra in a year as per the statistics issued by the PAMA. From March 2021 to March 2022, the company has managed to sell 46 units to 357 units of Elantra. And now, with the launch of another variant of Hyundai Elantra, the Hyundai Elantra Sales will go higher.

Before a year, the Hyundai offered the Elantra as a brand-new third C-segment sedan. There were only two C-segment sedans, Corolla and Civic in Pakistan were available before then. Many people asked about the Elantra’s potential in the market. Now that the market has had a taste of the South Korean sedan, they are asking for more. And Hyundai has given it to them.
