Audi Unveiled First Electric SUV in Pakistan

For months it was speculated that the electric vehicles will be soon seen in the auto industry of Pakistan. Finally Audi unveiled first electric SUV in Pakistan. The Audi Pakistan launched their all electric E-Tron Quattro at a ceremony in Karachi.

Exterior

The Exterior of the E Tron is same like other models in the lineup. The SUV is designed in a futuristic look featured with optional matrix LED headlamps. The Electric SUV E Tron is especially featured with a tech for controlling the intensity of lights depending on the traffic. The back of the Car is provided with LED light strip and dynamic flashing light.

Audi has manufactured the car with the virtual exterior mirror to enhance the safety and decrease the air resistance equally at same time. The exterior rear view mirror is housed with the small camera for digital imaging at the OLED display at the door.

Interior

As far as the interior of the Audi’s Electric SUV is concerned, it is provided with a spacious cabin with two tone combination with all the relevant data and real-time situation being displayed at the middle of the dashboard through its virtual cockpit.

The storage capacity of the car is 660 liters and the cabin is provided with multiple storage spaces. It features a panoramic glass sunroof, an infotainment system that boasts a Bluetooth interface. Both front and rear sides of the car are housed with LED projector. You can also use dim light in the interior of the car. The car is equipped with premium sound by Bang and Olufsen. Other features include digital gauge cluster named as virtual cockpit, two flush-mounted touchscreens in the center. It even has wireless charging and a Wi-Fi hotspot.

Power

The maximum output power of the E Tron is 300KW and for Quattro drive experience it has a feature called optimum traction. The Electric SUV has two electric motors, one for each axle that gives the car 402hp.

The speed of the car is 417Km on a single battery charge according to Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicle Test Procedure WLTP. It boasts a maximum speed of 200km/h and can do 0-100 km/h in less than 5.7 seconds.

The Battery can be charged with 150.0kW DC fast-chargers that allows it to regain a range of 80Km in under 10 minutes and in half an hour, a range of 260km. When using a more traditional 240-volt outlet, it can be fully charged in nine hours.
