Toyota Indus Motor Company has started the booking of the New Toyota Yaris sedan as the launching ceremony of the vehicle is going to be conducted very soon. Comparison Between Toyota Yaris GLi 1.3 MT vs Honda City I-VTEC 1.3 MT.

This car will be replaced with Toyota Corolla 1.3 variant and this New Yaris is the tremendous addition in the auto sector, which will also compete with Honda City and Suzuki sales in Pakistan.




Engine and Performance

Toyota Yaris 4 cylinder inline valve DOHC is equipped with INR-FE 1329 cc VVT-I engine and it can produce maximum 98 hp on RPM 6000 and on RPM 4200 it can produce 123 Nm torque. On the other hand, Honda City is added with i-VTEC 1339 cc 4 cylinder engine, which has the electronic fuel injection system, which can produce 100 hp and 129 Nm torque and this car is loaded with 5 speed forward manual transmission.

Braking and Suspension

Toyota Yaris is added with ventilated disk brake in its front wheels and drum brakes in the rear wheels. The company has also offered the brake assist AB for the optimum braking experience and it has MacPherson Strut Suspension with Stabilizer at front and there is torsion beam at the rear side of the car.
Honda City car is added with disc braking system at front wheels and this car is also added with drum brakes at rear side. The car has the MacPherson Strut Suspension with stabilizer at front and it has torsion beam at rear side, which is added with stabilizer.



Dimension & Capacity

Yaris has 4 beam halogen lamp headlight and running lamp at daytime. There is lack of fog lights and body colored outside door handles and side view mirror is integrated with side turn signals. The windscreen of the car has green lamination and front windscreen has intermittent wipers. The automaker has introduced LED line guide in rear lamps and reflex reflector at bottom end of rear bumper. The company has introduced standard size tire size, which is 185 / 60 R15 with steel wheels with wheel caps.
Honda City has latest facelifted model with chrome and black front radiator grille and body colored bumpers. It has multi reflecting crystal headlights and has intermittent windshield wipers and side view mirrors are integrated with turn signals. On the rear side of roof, it is added with micro antenna and fuel lid opener has push open feature and the company has installed exhaust pipe finisher.
