Dewan Farooque Motors starts KIA Shehzore production

Dewan Farooque Motors Limited (PSX: DFML) has officially commenced the local assembly of KIA commercial vehicles in Pakistan, as announced by the car assembler to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Friday.

The company's management expressed their pleasure in announcing the initiation of local assembly operations for special purpose KIA Commercial Vehicles in Pakistan, with the product KIA SHEHZORE expected to be available very soon in 2024.

DFML is committed to continuing to serve the people of Pakistan with high-quality products and after-sales services through its extensive nationwide dealership network.

In November 2022, DFML had previously disclosed that it had entered into a Technology License Agreement (TLA) with KIA Corporation (Commercial), Republic of Korea, for the production/assembly of special purpose commercial vehicles.

The primary activities of the Company include assembling, progressive manufacturing, and the sale of vehicles in Pakistan.
