Gas & Oil Pakistan EV Charging Facility in Pakistan

The governments and the auto manufacturing companies all over the world are concentrating on the promotion and production of the electric vehicles in order to compete with the environmental changes and the Pakistani government and the local auto manufacturers are also focusing on this particular issue and the present government is working to promote the electric vehicles in the country. Gas & Oil Pakistan Introduces EV Charging Facilities in Pakistan.



According to the stance of the present government, the government is promoting the EV cars in the country and the Gas & Oil Pakistan is the first company, which has introduced the electric vehicle charging facilities all over the country. GO is the fastest growing oil marketing company in Pakistan and this company is the first OMC, which is going to introduce the facility at its retail stores. The inauguration ceremony of the charging facilities was managed on 15 May 2020.



The first EV charger has been installed at their own and operated outlet COCO-3 near Expo Center in Lahore and the leading companies like BMW and Audi have started the import of the i3 and E-Torn in the country and they will help the customers to get the facility of EV charger of their cars. The chairman and CEO of the company, GO said that the company aims to be present at the front position to take these initiatives for environment and they are making the entry in Pakistan and EV chargers of GO will provide the freedom to travel, when people want to go with the use of these environment-friendly mode of transportation. It is further added that they plan to roll out the EV chargers at the important locations like motorways and big national highways so that people can travel to long distances without having the anxiety of provision of the EV charger nearby.



The company has already started their business in Pakistan about 5 years before and it has the storage capacity of 196,000 MTs, which is the largest capacity of any private OMC and it operates over 550 retail outlets in Pakistan and the headquarter of this company is located in Lahore.
