Yang Hongxin, chairman and CEO of SVOLT— A Great Wall Moto (GWM) subsidiary — revealed the Dragon Armor battery style to provide the best performance, safety, and battery life.

To increase the overall performance the battery uses thermoelectric separation and space function combination style. The lithium iron phosphate (LFP) form of this battery can give 800 km of range.

LFP battery has become the most famous in China over the previous years or two due to their cost benefits. SVOLT has originated solutions to some common LFP battery-pack problems to increase their safety and heat transfer feasibility.

Technical optimization has enhanced the productivity of the Dragon Armor battery. The latest style uses LFP cells at a very higher degree than its competitor. The enhancement allows for a battery range of 800 to 1000 kilometers.

It should not only motivate car creators that are the barrier to EVs, this should also enhance the confidence of consumers who didn’t wish to take the drive with electric cars due to their limited range in contrast to their interior combustion engine rivals.

Hongxin states that SVOLT will receive orders worldwide for the Dragon Armor battery and begin mass-making it in 2023.
