Hyundai & Kia Coming Cars Having Solar Panel Roofs
There is the great threat of climate change and the companies are making earnest efforts to compete with the omission of CO₂. Hyundai and KIA are such companies, which are working to equip the selected cars with solar panels on their roofs and hoods. The solar panel roofs will help to charge the batteries of hybrid and electric cars and they are excellent for regular internal combustion vehicles. The first generation solar roofs are added with the conventional roofs.

The second generation solar roofs have blocked the view of the sky above and cars with combustion only will be added with semi transparent roof. In the pilot phase, there is the third wave, where the solar panel will give the power from roof and hood simultaneously.

Eco-Friendly But Impractical
The solar panels cover the roof of the car, which cannot give enough power in short period of time. It does not create the issue during the long drive and weather conditions. The first generation solar panel roof will have the potential to charge 30 to 60 percent of battery of hybrid car per day and it is favorable for weather and overall environment. It can reduce charging times and you may not be able to use petrol on such days, when you cannot plug in.

If the new technology becomes successful, then it can be harbinger of new trend in auto manufacturing industry and it becomes the eco friendly and cost effective.
