Islamabad Police Introduces Online Driver's Learning Permit

The Islamabad Capital Police has introduced an online platform enabling residents of the federal capital to acquire their learner's permit for driving.

Motorists are now able to request an online learner's permit subsequent to completing a medical assessment at the traffic office, as conveyed by a spokesperson for the capital police.

The spokesperson elaborated that this service is conveniently accessible via the official website of the Islamabad Capital Police. The online facility has been initiated in compliance with directives from the Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO), Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan.

This endeavor is geared towards simplifying the process for individuals aspiring to obtain a driving license. It empowers them to apply for an online learner's permit following a medical evaluation directly through the Islamabad police's official website, all from the comfort of their homes.

Earlier this month, the capital police unveiled a virtual driving license service. As per a public relations officer, the Virtual Driving License has been specifically tailored for residents of the federal capital. Citizens can procure their virtual licenses by inputting their National Identity Card number, driving license number, and expiry date on the official website.
