Kia Niro 2023 Variants and Specs Revealed

Kia Motors is planning to launch second generation of Kia Niro. It was introduced last year. According to company the Kia Niro 2023 will be launched in three variants including hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and electric versions. The conventional hybrid variant of Kia Niro is coming for the first time. The car is expected to make its entry somewhere in 2023.

Here are some details regarding specs and features of the new Kia Niro 2023.

The Niro Hybrid will be installed with a 1.6-liter inline-four gasoline engine, an electric motor, and a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission once again. According to Kia, the Niro will have 139 hp and like before, the car will come with Front Wheel Drive FWD option.

The company has showed off the detailed specifications and features of the hybrid and electric variants of the Kia Niro. But, it can be expected that these variants of Kia Niro will be housed with huge batteries and the powerful electric motors.

However, the Kia has released the images of the Niro EV which suggest that the electric car Niro will have changed front. As compared to previously launched models, the Niro 2023 will be bigger. The EV will come with a wider frame, a bit longer wheelbase, and a 2.5 inch longer body for passenger and spacious luggage room.

The Kia Niro 2023 is basically inspired by the design of the HabaNiro concept car. The car will come with a wide variety of trim choices including eight exterior colors, six color options for the contrasting C-pillar trim, and three options for the body cladding.

The Kia Niro will have Za 10.3 inch touchscreen display and a digital gauge cluster insider like many other Kia Vehicles. The rotary shift knob is a standard feature which is now offered in the Kia Niro hybrid which was only available in the Niro electric variants before.

Kia Niro will be launched in Korea in coming few month and later on it will make its debut globally next year. More details will come with the passage of the time as its launch time approaches near.
