The local automobile manufacturing companies earned the handsome sales because of the lack of the imported vehicles. When you consider the sales of the last two decades, there are top 10 locally manufactured cars in Pakistan.

Suzuki Swift 2011-12

Suzuki Swift was introduced in 2009 as the 1300 cc hatchback in Pakistan. This vehicle was the perfect power packed hatchback and it got the record sale of 7040 units during the financial year of 2011-2012.

Suzuki WagonR:

Suzuki WagonR was launched in the market in 2014 as the 1000cc hatchback and Suzuki WagonR was the first locally produced hatchback with K-series engine and it is known for the fuel efficiency. This vehicle has the highest sales of 9709 units for wagonR and the sale was recorded during the financial year 2015-2016.

Honda Civic 2004-2005

Honda Civic Eagle Eye was the most popular civic car, which is ever produced in Pakistan. Honda Atlas cars got the record sales of 12352 units for Honda Civic during the financial year 2004-2005. The next model of Civic, Honda Civic Reborn was the second most popular Civic in Pakistan with 11,998 units sold in the market.

Daihatsu Coure 2006-2007

Daihatsu Coure is introduced in the market in early 2000s. This vehicle is perfectly priced and it is highly economical for middle class buyers and Daihatsu sold highest number of 12776 units during the financial year 2006-2007. Daihatsu Coure was the first ever locally produced hatchback with automatic gear transmission in under 1000cc car category.

Honda city has been the most preferable local sedan ever. It has been one of the most selling local sedans in Pakistan. The sales figures show that Honda Atlas cars sold the highest number of 16,136 units of Honda city during the financial year 2005-2006.

Suzuki Alto is proved to be good hatchback in Pakistan for almost a decade. It was 1000cc hatchback and company recorded the sale of the 21,988 units during the year 2006-2007.

The evergreen Suzuki Mehran was introduced in the auto market for almost three decades. This is the cheapest car in the market and it targets the lower middle class segment of Pakistani buyers. The statistics shows that the highest number of 37,007 sold units of Mehran in 2006-2007 of Mehran and 37,504 sold units in 2015-2016.
Suzuki Bolan 2015-2016

Suzuki Bolan has been the seven seater locally manufactured vehicle in Pakistan and this is preferred by large families and it is also excellent vehicle as the carriage vehicle, which is used for different industries. The highest number of 30,154 sold units for Suzuki Bolan was recorded in the year 2015-2016 and Suzuki Bolan is the choice of the Pakistani buyers.
