Locally Assembled Kia Shehzore: A Comprehensive Overview

DFML has revitalized the Kia Shehzore, introducing a modern design, increased load capacity, and a more robust engine. Alongside the Shehzore, DFML has also launched the locally produced electric hatchback, Honri Ve. With brands like Kia, BMW, Hyundai, and Mitsubishi, DFML continues to significantly influence the future of the Pakistani automotive market.

Overview of Kia Shehzore
The Kia Shehzore, first released in 2004 and produced until 2007, was well-regarded in Pakistan's commercial vehicle sector for its superior load capacity and maneuverability. The latest Shehzore model comes in three versions: Standard Cabin, King Cabin, and Grand Cabin. The top-tier Grand Cabin variant offers seating for 5 to 6 passengers and an extended flatbed for cargo transport.

Exterior Design Features
The redesigned Shehzore maintains the core aesthetics of its predecessor with subtle updates, such as a tiger-nose false grille, basic bumper, halogen headlights, and a newly redesigned 'KIA' emblem. The vehicle also includes side mirrors and a 3D view system to enhance driving assistance.

Engine Specifications and Payload Capacity
The new Shehzore is equipped with a 2.7-liter naturally aspirated engine and a 5-speed manual transmission, delivering 79 HP and 164 Nm of torque. It has disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear. With a load capacity ranging from 1.5 tons to a maximum of 2.5 tons, the truck ensures a nimble and smooth driving experience without any sense of underpowering.

Interior Comfort and Features
Contrary to many commercial vehicles, the updated Shehzore emphasizes passenger comfort, offering upright driving posture, reclining seats, improved cushioning, and efficient air conditioning. The interior features a basic analog meter with a MID, grey roof lining, dome lights, cup holders, and storage compartments, some integrated into the front folding middle seat. Additionally, speakers are installed for entertainment during long waiting periods in queues or parking lots.

We extend our best wishes to DFML success with the local assembly and reintroduction of the Kia Shehzore. This marks a significant step for DFML in the Pakistani automotive market, bringing improved performance and design. We're excited to see how the new Shehzore will cater to user needs and impact the commercial vehicle sector. Your insights are important to us, so please share your thoughts.
