It's crucial to note that the Pajero nameplate encompasses five distinct models. From the full-size off-road-capable Pajero to the midsize pickup-based Pajero Sport, the small Pininfarina-styled Pajero iO, the mini SUV Pajero Junior based on the Minica kei car, to the kei-sized Pajero Mini, only the Pajero Sport remains in production, catering to select markets.

While specific details are currently scarce, the insider suggests Mitsubishi aims to infuse the resurrected Pajero with opulence and off-road prowess, potentially placing it in direct competition with the likes of Range Rover.
